Pokédex sorting 0xD8 is a glitch Pokédex sorting in Pokémon Crystal.
Effect
- Opening the listing may load a Pokédex listing but with a corrupted selection border graphic. It may also corrupt the music slightly.
- Pressing Select to open mode selection screen may result in a solid black screen lock-up with the music still playing.
When accessed with C7D8 method
- Pressing A may cause arbitrary code execution at region E0AF in Echo RAM (a copy of C0AF in RAM). Can be ended with only a ret if one can be forced early enough, with no known issues.
