Pokédex sorting 0xE6 is a glitch Pokédex sorting in Pokémon Crystal.
Effect
- Arbitrary code execution at region CDCC in RAM when opened. Can be ended with only a ret with no known issues.
- Can open mode selection screen, where description may be "(unknown name)qg9 q9??99999?99999?99?99?89999799?99??9??9??99. Ä 9 99??9699♂99Y ä9999 ?69899E999899999?()RRRRDRRRRRRZ( ööööMMöööMTRRRRRRB" or similar. Pressing A may cause arbitrary code execution at region 81CD in VRAM, which, due to locked VRAM, may result in a Glitch Dimension with the "This Game Pak is designed only for use on the Game Boy Color." message.
- Multiple Pokédex modes may corrupt D959 (last Pokédex sorting) to this sorting.
When accessed with C7D8 method
- Pressing A may cause arbitrary code execution at region CF7A in RAM. Can be ended with only a ret with no known issues.
