Pokédex sorting 0xAD is a glitch Pokédex sorting in Pokémon Gold and Silver.
Effect
- Arbitrary code execution at region C9C5 in RAM when opened. Can be ended with a ret with no known issues
- Pressing Select may bring up mode selection screen, with ")ZZZZZZ 'r'lKDHH?MrI" as description. Pressing A may bring up a search results menu with no Pokémon found. Exiting this menu may cause arbitrary code execution at region C9C5 in RAM, which can be ended with a ret with no known issues.
When accessed with C6D8 method
- May bring up search results screen for pressing A, but results may vary possibly based on the current dex mode. Arbitrary code execution can be avoided.
