Pokédex sorting 0xB5 is a glitch Pokédex sorting in Pokémon Gold and Silver.
Effect
- Arbitrary code execution at region C2CA in RAM when opened. Can be ended with a ret with no known issues.
- Pressing Select may bring up mode selection screen, where description may be a misaligned "NEW POKéDEX MODE OLD POKéDEX MODE". Immediately afterwards game may appear to 'exit' the menu and lock up with a white screen and music still playing.
When accessed with C6D8 method
- Simply changing C6D8 to B5 may cause arbitrary code execution at region 8000 in VRAM, possibly resulting in a Glitch Dimension due to VRAM inaccessibility.
