Early English promotional Pokémon names
Before Pokémon Red and Green were officially translated into English various names were temporarily used to represent the Pokémon which, at that time had not currently been officially translated into English. These names were used to refer to the Pokémon in promotions in the United States, before the final English versions of the games were decided.
