#Continue through the game normally until you get to a point were you can catch Pokemon. Note: Do NOT save your game at anytime during this step.

This glitch allows the player to obtain all of the three starter Pokémon in Pokémon G/S/C.

Requirements

  • A Pokémon Gold/Silver/Crystal game with no save file. (or one that the player doesn't mind deleting)

Procedure

  1. Start a new game.
  2. When the player has gotten through the generic "This is the world of Pokémon" opening, he or she should go outside and save before obtaining his or her Starter Pokémon.
  3. The player should continue through the game normally until he or she gets to a point where Pokémon can be caught. Note: Do NOT save the game at anytime during this step.
