Get all three starters (Generation II): Difference between revisions

This [[glitch]] allows youthe player to getobtain all of the three startersstarter Pokémon in Pokémon G/S/C.

*A Pokémon GGold/SSilver/CCrystal game with no [[save statefile]]. (or one youthat donthe player doesn't mind deleting)

#When you'vethe player has gotten through the generic "This is the world of Pokémon" opening, he or she should go outside and save before youobtaining gohis toor gether yourStarter starterPokémon.

#ContinueThe player should continue through the game normally until youhe getor she gets to a point werewhere youPokémon can catchbe Pokemoncaught. Note: Do NOT save yourthe game at anytime during this step.

#Catch a Pokemon, and then go to the Pokemon centerCenter in Cherrygrove City.

#Perform the [[Cloning|Cloning Glitch]] and then clone yourthe startingStarter Pokemon. Note:The player Doshould NOT save in front of the PC.

#If the clone was successful, youthe player will be in the location where youhe or she last saved, which should be before youhe or she got youra Starter starterPokémon.

#Go into Prof. Elm's Lab and pick a different starter with the starter youthe player just chose still in yourhis or her party.

#Go to the Pokemon Center in Cherrygrove and yourthe original starterStarter Pokémon will be in the PC.

#To get the last starter, start at Step Three and repeat up to Step Eight.
