As it is an unterminated name glitch item, it can be used for other screen data exploits as well, like LOL glitch or will usually cause the TMTRAINER effect in battle.

In other occasions from outside of battle for when the 0x50 sub-tile is later on the screen, the glitch item may act as a screen data saving glitch item or result in a battle with the Hooked Metapod, depending on where the 0x50 sub-tile is.

Using this glitch item with a 0x50 sub-tile early on the screen will result in arbitrary code execution at memory address $D887 in WRAM.

Using it in battle with a 0x50 sub-tile later on the screen (which is usually the case) will typically result in the TMTRAINER effect.
