Lumiose City save glitch

The Lumiose City glitch is a glitch that occurs in Pokémon X and Y that freezes the game if the player saves in the North or South Boulevard of the city. It also renders the game unplayable, as the game immediately freezes upon loading the Player Search System screen. It is unknown at this time why the glitch occurs, however Nintendo has acknowledged the glitch and has released a patch via the eShop to fix player's save data.
