==Villager moving glitches==
Unlike in previous games of the series, the major can manage how many NPC residents their town will have and where they will reside, by pre-paying and marking the land for their home, then asking the desired character (from the camping lot, a ticket island, another town's leaving islander, etc) to join, causing the land to be marked as sold and the house being built overnight.
In version 1.1.1 and earlier, asking another town's character to move would result in the land being marked as sold but the character never actually moving in.
However other tangentially related issues are still in the game as of version 1.1.4 (current as of 2020-4-12)

Silla mia seconda Switch avevo Raimondo su animal crossing, l'ho cacciato, ed invitato sulla mia prima switch(legit, non moddata) e Raimondo si è trasferito. Appena sono andato online, l'abitante si è buggato! Se vado a casa sua, mi dice che si è trasferito, ma di fatto no. Se guardo per tutta l'isola, museo compreso non c'è. Se chiedo di spostare o l'edificio o mando lettere/regali allora appare e risponde, ma solo in quelle occasioni. Non posso nemmeno cacciarlo o sostituirlo, perché mi segna che ho la decima casa perenmmente occupata, quindi son costretto ad avere questa casa fantasma. Ho provato a contattare il servizio clienti nintendo e mi han detto di vedere online perché non sanno come aiutarmi. -->
