It was documented by TheZZAZZGlitch, and abuses both the fact that the player can walk freely in x-positions greater than the x-boundary and the fact that the player's x coordinate represents an item in the player's [[expanded item pack]].
When the player character continues to walk right, Celadon City will loop with warps not working, and NPCs not appearing. This is known as a [[Phantom City]].

To perform this glitch, one needs :
