Using HM07 once may corrupt the graphics on the screen to have many blue lines, or at least corruption of the message box to have blue in it. If used once more, it may freeze the game, or corrupt the screen with animated glitched graphics.

Exiting the items menu may also result in a special effect which appears to depend on location, such as a freeze or [[Glitch Dimension]], however using this glitch item just outside of the Goldenrod City Pokémon Center may bringsbring up a text box that results in glitched movement if the player presses A.
