Used "Get Any Pokemon", save wiped.

I used "Get Any Pokemon" to obtain ▼ W G d, game crashed, my entire save got wiped, why did this happen? is my save recoverable? edit: it didn't show the "save file is corrupted" message either. it's just gone. edit again: please can anyone help?
