I think there is one where if you try to release all your Pokémon and a HM move would be needed it comes back saying it missed you? Also the Yellow Safari Zone free entry addition is related. Pikasprey (link here) who you may have heard of specialises in the subject of making save files impossible (without glitches) a lot.
