About your recent edits

Hi, RexMissingno! I saw that you made some changes to MD1GlitchDex subpages. I am wondering what you are basing your edits on — you seem to have deleted some contents, which I interpret as you claiming that those statements are not (or no longer) true. I assume that your source is your own research, and in that case I would be happy to hear more about what exactly you did to arrive at your conclusions. Glitch research can be confusing at times, and I want as much information available as possible when seemingly conflicting results appear.

In any case, welcome to our wiki! Even though I myself am feeling a little lost about in which direction the wiki should go, I am just glad that you are willing to contribute, either for just one time or as a recurring contributor. Bbbbbbbbba (talk) 03:13, 23 March 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I mostly deleted them because I realized I didn't have enough information. I meant to do more research into it, but just completely lost track of time. Because I don't have enough technical knowledge of how Pokemon Mystery Dungeon works, I realized I wasn't completely sure how the PMD Decamark was able to work some times but not others, it seemed to have something to do with the Pokemon selection but I realized I put it there without having as much information as I should and I was making claims based on assumption. I can't remember if I removed this section either, but I know I was uncertain on the crashing effect because I didn't know if it was from the way I was getting these Pokemon into the game or because of it due to the glitch Pokemon themselves.
Thank you though! I would still love to contribute, but unfortunately life suddenly picked up for me and I no longer had much time. I was planning on going back and contributing to the PMD pages. RexMissingno (talk) 21:26, 8 April 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Oh, I actually didn't realize that the original text was contributed by you (I thought it was Evie; page history can be confusing at times). Unfortunately there are probably not many people interested in PMD glitch research (how many people even have the game?). Bbbbbbbbba (talk) 20:36, 9 April 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hi, actually I created the original article and RexMissingno expanded it. In this case it was information which I paraphrased from from TCRF (and maybe a YouTube video by someone I watched) because I wanted to add it to list of glitch Pokémon), then RexMissingNo added their own information. Yeah, re: what Rex said, empirical glitching can be misleading sometimes if the results aren't constant (e.g. when we found out that 8F runs RAM, rather than "does nothing").
