Mirror Glitch

In the Sega Master System version of the game, when the player attempts to buy a mirror from Pin's Pawn Shop three or more times, the game may execute a variety of routines. While many of these freeze the game, it has gained notability for the possibility of triggering beneficial effects, such as maximizing the player's level before fighting a single enemy, or warping directly to the credits.

For the credits warp in particular to be possible, the overworld view needs to be oriented a particular way prior to entering the shop.
