Pokédex sorting 0x9E is a glitch Pokédex sorting in Pokémon Crystal.
Effect
- Arbitrary code execution at region DA4F in RAM when opened. Can be ended with only a ret with no other changes to the CPU.
- Can press Select to get to mode selection screen, where description may be filled with glitch text and where pressing A may cause arbitrary code execution at region CF7A in RAM. This can be ended with only a ret with no other changes to the CPU. A Glitch City and only Kingdra in the Pokédex sorting may be caused after closing the menu. D959 (last Pokédex mode) may also be changed to 0xE6.
When accessed with C7D8 method
- Pressing A may cause arbitrary code execution at region CDD2 in RAM. Can be ended with only a ret with no other changes to the CPU.
