Pokédex sorting 0x70 is a glitch Pokédex sorting in Pokémon Gold and Silver.

Effect

  • Causes arbitrary code execution at region F683 in RAM when opened (a copy of D683). Can be ended with a ret with no known issues.
  • Pressing Select to get to the mode selection screen may result in a black screen, but pressing A again may load it with "9!!!!99999ä" as the mode's description. If A is pressed from here, the game may cause arbitrary code execution at region D1FA in RAM, which can be terminated with a ret with no known issues.

When accessed with C6D8 method

  • May cause arbitrary code execution at region D1FA in RAM when chosen with A. Can be ended with a ret with no issues.
