Pokédex sorting 0x74 is a glitch Pokédex sorting in Pokémon Gold and Silver.

Effect

  • Causes arbitrary code execution at region F042 in RAM when opened (a copy of D042). Can be ended with a ret with no known issues.
  • Can press Select to get to the mode selection screen, where the mode may have no description. Pressing A may cause arbitrary code execution at region EAC1 in RAM (a copy of CAC1). Can be ended with a ret with no known issues.

When accessed with C6D8 method

  • Pressing A may cause arbitrary code execution at region EAC1 in RAM (a copy of CAC1), as above. Can be ended with a ret with no known issues.
