(hex:6F) ("Soda Pop generator") is a glitch item in Pokémon Yellow (Japanese) v1.1, v1.2 and v1.3.
Its Japanese name (katakana for "Gold") is one of the unused Japanese list strings. The English version mojibake for this string (and equivalent English version glitch item identifier) is -g.
Using this glitch item will add a stack of 220 Soda Pops to the inventory if both no stack exists and the player has less than 20 items. If used with an expanded items pack of 255 items, it may give the player 0 items.
If a stack already exists, the game will manage the addition differently. Sometimes it will give the appropriate quantities +220 of the original split into both a stack of 99 Soda Pops and another stack, but at other times the player will end up with less Soda Pops than +220 of the original amount.
