The PokéMart worker glitch or simply Stand on a Tree is a glitch in Pokémon Emerald which involves the player talking to the PokéMart worker in Oldale Town with a full bag and being lead into a tree. It is not to be confused with other Pokémon glitches which involve the player saving the game where a cuttable tree used to be and resetting the game.
Requirements
- The player must already have a full bag.
- The player must NOT have already talked to PokéMart worker in Oldale and saved the game.
Procedure
- Talk to the PokéMart worker in Oldale Town.
- Walk north, one step outside of town and then return to Oldale Town.
- Talk to her again from the the left-hand side and the player will be led through the Pokémart and into a tree.
Notes
The PokéMart worker acts as if she has already given the player a Potion by mentioning that "a Potion can be used anytime, so it's even more useful than a Pokémon Center in certain situations." even though the player never actually recieved the Potion.
