The PokéMart worker glitch or simply Stand on a Tree is a glitch in Pokémon Emerald which involves the player talking to the PokéMart worker in Oldale Town with a full bag and being lead into a tree. It is not to be confused with other Pokémon glitches which involve the player saving the game where a cuttable tree used to be and resetting the game.

Requirements

  • The player must already have a full bag.
  • The player must NOT have already talked to PokéMart worker in Oldale and saved the game.

Procedure

  1. Talk to the PokéMart worker in Oldale Town.
  2. Walk north, one step outside of town and then return to Oldale Town.
  3. Talk to her again from the the left-hand side and the player will be led through the Pokémart and into a tree.

Notes

The PokéMart worker acts as if she has already given the player a Potion by mentioning that "a Potion can be used anytime, so it's even more useful than a Pokémon Center in certain situations." even though the player never actually recieved the Potion.
