The '''Mossdeep City Delcatty glitch''' is a minor error regarding an NPC's Delcatty in Mossdeep City inside of a house to the left of the Pokémon Center. If the player speaks to the Delcatty the game will display the text "DELCATTY: Delcaaah?" and the Delcatty will emit a cry, however the cry used is associated with a Skitty, rather than a Delcatty.

The same glitch also exists in the Japanese version of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, where the Skitty is named 'エネコロロ'; Delcatty's Japanese name. The glitch was fixed in the Japanese version of Emerald in the same way as English Emerald; by changing the name エネコロロ to エネコ (Skitty's Japanese name), rather than changing its cry.

The Mossdeep City Skitty glitch is assumed to be a glitch in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. In Mossdeep City, in the house directly west of the Pokémon Center, there is a Skitty, with a Skitty's cry, but it is named 'DELCATTY'.

This was amended in Pokémon Emerald, which changed the name of the Skitty from Delcatty to Skitty.
