Obtaining text about the Gold Badge at the Saffron Gym entrance.

The Saffron Gym glitch (Japanese: ヤマブキジムのバグ, Yamabuki Gym Bug) is a glitch that only appears in Pokémon Red and Green. It was fixed in Japanese Blue, Pocket Monsters Pikachu, and the localizations.

Losing to Sabrina in Saffron Gym and then re-entering the gym causes the game to immediately print the text about the Marsh Badge letting Pokémon up to level 70 obey the player, and the player will receive a TM46, Psywave. This counts as a win, and the player will receive the Marsh Badge.
