Presuming that the Cycling music is playing, if the player cycles through Spring Path and into Sendoff Spring if he or she immediately cycles back to Route 214 the music will become muted even if the player uses the bike again, until he or she leaves the route.

The Mute the Music in Route 214 glitch or "Sendoff Spring to Silent Spring" is a minor glitch which involves the player muting the music in Route 214. It only exists in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl because Pokémon Platinum features a slightly different game engine and also because of the fact the music from Spring Path was changed from the music from the Old Chateau to the normal music from Route 214.

Requirements

1. The player needs a Bicycle.
2. The player also needs to have beaten the Pokémon League, so that he or she can access Spring Path and Sendoff Spring.

Method

1. Use the Bicycle on Route 214 and ensure that the Cycling music is playing.
2. Travel through a gap to the right of the route, leading to Spring Path, the Bicycle music should stop now.
3. Whilst still on the Bicycle, travel to Sendoff Spring.
4. Turn back and procede back through Spring Path and onto Route 214.
5. The music will have become muted, until the player leaves the route.
